Guards, lock down all vent shafts and emergency exits in the vicinity of the prisoners living area. He will be monitored by two gaurds at all times carrying only plastic clubs. The remaining guards follow standard proceedure. You have been equiped with individual blasters that will only be usable by your individauls touch. If this fleet comes under attack kill the prisoner. I will personally do the killing if I am around. Set up EMP fields in all areas to disable any bioelectronic devices he may be carrying, (ie. personal cloaking devices).

Oasa, send reinforcements to the Voinia system. That UE fleet will most likely attack here soon.

Later in the day as the sun begins to set in the western hemisphere of Mihal a reporter for the Mihal Daily News sits on a park bench stressing about his current journalist project due the following day. As he sits thinking about what to write he sees an array of blasts in the sky. He quickly rushes to his ship to investigate the problem. As his ship pulls out of the atmosphere he sees a large fleet looming in the distance. It is unlike anything he has seen and the reporter is stunned as the fleet moves in closer. The reporter notices bits and fragments of previous Voinian ships floating in the background. A red beep flashes on the ship of the reporter and before he has time to realize what happend a huge blast of turret fire ripped through his shields and hull and the ship went out with a hideous blast of fire and smoke. An hour later the Mihal system no longer belonged to Oasa.

Rooster's pleads were merely a diversion. His chants were Corocian Command code used during fragile situations. He knew Oasa would be directly informed of what Rooster spoke through the comm system to him on the Malcontent, and that Buba's ship would hear the transmission while in the atmosphere. Buba knew all along what he had to do. Rooster had clearly seen the access code to the security matrix on the panel as it was often used by Daedalus and Oasa. His chants resembled the numbers and letters of the code and Buba now had a way to break the internal defenses. Miranu was still in the holding cell until he decided his own fate. He was still with personal comm and concealed photonlance. Buba had given him the code and he used it to open the door. He only had to get to the security panel past the officer to destroy the defenses. He breathed deep, attached a bayonet to his inactive photonlance and thrust it at the guard. He lay dead while Miranu entered the system's self-destruct and told Buba it was time....

Daedalus, security breach! Rushing to a terminal Daedalus soon discovers the system in self destruct mode. Rushing to roostersw's cell he discovers two guards with their throats cut. I thought I told those brutes only to carry clubs.

Then from behind roostersw jumps Daedalus. Drawing his knife Daedalus fights back. The brawl ends in a draw, both have eachothers knives at eachothers throats.

"Well roostersw, I don't know how miranu got the security code but I bet you are behind it. Not only did Miranu put the defenses on self destruct, but the entire base has gone into lockdown and is set to blow in 5 mins."

"I don't wish to die, what should we do about this situation."

Let me just get this straight. If no posts are thrown out,

CONTINUATION: "You can always let me go, and we'll fight another day...brother." Daedalus looks shocked. Rooster uses his confusion to bite his knife (not easy) and fling it away. He runs for the interlock, to find Buba, scarred and broken, come to rescue him. They run for Buba's ship outside. Rooster: "But how?" Buba: "I've been taking systems for the Corocian Empire with our fleet. It is sure they will fall to the enemy again, but it got us here in our glory!" An Igazra is hovering just above, fighting fiercely with the automated defenses. Rooster: "What about Miranu?" Buba: "There's no time!" On the ground is a transport drone, which Buba and Rooster take up to the Igazra. Over a third of this vast fleet is destroyed in orbit by Oasans before all can enter the jumpstream....

Daedalus cursing his error appears to walk through a wall and into a vert tube. While flying up out of the bowels of the base pursued by a massive shockwave from the exploading base, he gives a command.

"Apollo's Arrow activate main engines and thrusters... NOW!!"

The sleek vessel takes off in pursuit of Rooster and Buba and jumps out of system after cloaking.

Buba's fleet is crippled.
Miranu is still on the planet, but escaped to the grasslands.
The base is going to explode. (you are at the interlock however Daedalus, and you can easily run to escape the blast to the grasslands where miranu is)

And Oasa, if i was actually killed, there would be no Corocian Alliance, no Bubaganoosh, and no story. This way you can kill me later yourself in battle :).

I escaped onto my ship. That was what the tube was, it went into my ship. Sorry if that wasn't clear.

Also, on the map, add my planet. It is F-25 in the middle of the Ji Nebula.

I am going to bed, it is 10:30 in New England. Oasa can control my ship if he needs to. Otherwise it is persuing the Igadzra with Buba and Rooster on it.

CONTINUATION: Nav: "The Apollo's Arrow is gaining on us, Commander Ganoosh!" True it was. The silver ship seemingly had unbelievably advanced hyperdrives and was now within the fleet. Daedalus knew he could not fire in the stream, but instead he rammed the lead Igazra under Buba's command and pushed it out of the jumpstream. Both ships suffered heavy damage. The inertia caused several hull breaches. This maneuver warped the stream, and no other ships could safely pass through it for a good time. The huge ship loomed over the C.W.S. Liberation.....

The map has been updated. It is at the same location.

Nice map Rooster. Hmmmmmmmm... Intimidator doesn't have enough systems....

Also, Daedalus, when you said the Carnotaur had killed a bunch of your guys, well, THAT WAS WHAT HE WAS ORDERED TO DO!!! Carnotaur and Intimidator were just acting on orders up till now. Now Carnotaur is acting independently.

Also, please refer to "Intimidatai" As the "Azdgari Empire".

Anyway back to the story...

Meanwhile, during all this time, Captain Carnotaur was still wondering what to do. Hmmmmm...

Finally, he decided. He would once again join the Corocians like his father had done. But this time was different. This time he would be doing this on his own. No more orders.

Anyway, first, Carnotaur decided he must expand the Azdgari Empire. So, after seeing that Terapin was uninhabited, Carnotaur went their alone with a bunch of other Azdgari engineers and built another station in place of the first one which had been destroyed. Then, Intimidator brought colonists to both Gadzair and Grooz. Once bases had been set up here, he went to Diudir, which had been poisened by the Zidagar. But, Intimitdator came with some new technology and got rid of all the toxic clouds. The Azdgari once again set up a base there. Then, Carnotaur led a fleet to Fluron and captured the base there.

Then, after expanding the Azdgari Empire, Carnotaur decided to help the Corocians. Carnotaur brought along with him 100 Azdgari warships, and 50 Igazras. Carnotaur went throughout Corocian territory dropping off ship after ship. Soon, Corocian space was again well fortified. Carnotaur still had 5 Igazras and 4 Azdgari warships along with him.

After both expanding the Azdgari Empire and helping fortify Corocian space, Carnotaur wondered where Rooster and Buba were. So, we went out to find and help them, as well as get orders from them.

Carnotaur, in your last post you just covered about 6 months time. Highly illegal. Also I am allied with the Igadzra and I don't think they would give you 70 warships.

After checking on his ship status, Daedalus found himsely lost in the middle of nowhere with Buba's ship. Weapons, fire pursuit missles, dozens of missles were deployed at the same time that Buba launched SAD modules. Both captains watched as both weapons streaked toward eachother, then appear to fight against some pull and then drift to the west as their fuel died out.

Sonsors! What is going on. What pulled the missles aut of their flight path.

Ahh, C-c-captain.. I think we are being sucked into a black hole.

What!? Fire main thrusters pull us out.

Its to late Captain, the only way for either ship to esape would be to gain velocity by swinging around eachother with Tractor beams. We would then head in opposite dirrections and spiral out of orbit around the hole.

Comm, contact Buba, tell him of the plan, unfortunately we are going to have to work together and they will escape.

Daedalus, I agree to your plan, however you must power down all weapons and we will to. Prepare to Rondevou.

Weapons! Power up the tractor beams. Full thrusters forward. Get something to hang on to, the force will be enough to paste you against a wall.

The to ships speeded towards eachother. A 300 yards the tracter beams began reaching out towards eachother. As the beams met metal hull the manuever was began. Both ship began swing around eachother still accelerating. Hulls screeched as metal was torn away and hull breeches became numerous.

Buba, stand- by, release......... NOW!!

Both ships hurtled in opposite directions beginning their spiral orbit out of reach of the hole.

Hours later.
Daedalus, we have exited the holes gravity well. Prepared to engage hyperdrive. We don't know where we will end up.

Engage, I want to get back to Voinia has fast as possible. The blue flare of the hyper drive lit up as Apollo's Arrow disappeared from the system.

On The opposite side of the system. Buba's orange ship did the same.
