I got the mission involving Anna and accidentally cancelled it. Does this mean I totally lost my chance to get the UE cruiser?

No, you just go back to where you got it in the first place. It should be available there.

Most of the missions will let you go back and get them again, but some won't. I don't know about this one in particular

nope, with the anna baloshava mission string you cant get it back if you fail it, im not sure about canceling, how far along were you? but try the planet where you got it then if it doesnt work your screwed :p.

If you tell me what mission you last finished, I might be able to make you a mini-plug that clears that mission bit so you can get the mission again. That should work.
