    • Where is the best emulator for Windows to run make for free


      I have looked all over, and none that I have tried ever work, It says I need bios or Rom for them, what should I do now? Where could I find bios or rom for the emulaters? I don't know what to do someone Please help

    • I don't know much about PCs, but I think BIOS is some kind of setup program.

    • Macs run off of ROMS, it can be in the form of hardware or software. But for the emulator, I think what they require is a "Mac OS ROM" which can be found in the System Folder in Mac OS. You should be able to download Mac OS 6 or maybe 7 from Apple's site.

      A BIOS applies to a program that is 'on' every PC board and controls the various settings on it. Such as whether or not it looks for a boot disk in the floppy on boot, as well as a myriad of other settings... which can really f*ck up your system. They usually provide more stuff to configure than your simple start up keys or firmware (on a Mac), but the BIOS is a helluva lot more to deal with.
