Meanwhile, the Azdgari have been working on new hyperspace technologies, and they were soon able to explore new systems. Then, one day, the Azdgari discovered a fourth strand: the Izgari. The Izgari were technilogically superior to all races in the known galaxy including the Mirans, however they were peaceful, and not agressive. They and the Azdgari joined forces, to become the first two strands to sign an alliance ever since the breakup of the Zidagar, Azdgari, and Igadzra.
The council, however, was very displeased with the alliance, and sent warships to stop the Izgari and Azdgari. However, the Izgari's technilogically superior vessels stopped the council warships in their tracks. Soon, Council Station was in Izgari hands, and the Zidagar and Igadzra were faced with the fact that the Izgari and Azdgari could defeat them.
However, the Izgari, being non-agressive by nature, decided that a war was not what they wanted, and soon there was a cease-fire between all the strands. The Izgari were hoping that the three strands could learn to like each other, and eventually become trusted friends.
The Izgari were also highly interested with the UE. The Izgari were specimen collectors, and they had collections of plants, artifacts, vessels, and weapons from thousands of places across the galaxy. They usually gathered these using cloaking technology.
Using their cloaking technology, the Izgari went to former UE space, where they found a disabled UE destroyer with several humans still alive. The Izgari put these humans into stasis, and added them to their collection (the Izgari hated species being wiped out completely, so they usually collected on or two individuals from a certain race and put them into stasis to keep for an indefinite period of time).
After this, the Izgari sent diplomats to the Voinians, asking for a non-agression pact between the two, and between the other three strands. The Voinians answered...
