Tell me about this? I just read it. I really do hope it comes out.

Oh. Iused to post using "Lonehuman" as my name. I didn't think you were still on the boards.

I guss Hucked on Fonex werked fer you tew. -
I'm making a plug right now...it's not called ROTE, but in it, the UE will attack the Voinian homeworld with the help of another hidden civilization (the Asken). Right now, I'm working more on (url="http://"http://www.geocities.com/evosite")my web page(/url), so the plug shouldn't be finished until about Christmas. But I've got all the ships and graphics (almost) and systems and outfits set up, I'm just working on the missions mostly. After I finish the missions and play through it once to make sure there are no (big) bugs, I'm going to release it. You should be able to download it off (url="http://"http://www.geocities.com/evosite")my web page(/url) in the plug-ins section or in the add-ons section of the official EVO page.

Visit my EVO web site (currently under construction) and tell me how it looks (via the poll at the bottom of the page or the guestbook)! It's at (url="http://"http://www.geocities.com/evosite")http://www.geocities.com/evosite(/url) !I can't think of anything else to write...

But I found out a little while ago that the web page doesn't work in Netscape 4.x, and I'm trying to fix that. Try to view it in Netscape 6 or IE 4 or above. I'm glad you like the idea of the plug, though.

Did the background appear dark gray with weird texture and the text appear white? I'm asking 'cause I can see it pretty well, and no one else has said anything is wrong with it. If anyone else says it's messed up, I'll try to make it darker.
Thanks for the input, and, again, I'm glad you liked it.

To find iCab, go to their website at (url="http://"http://www.icab.de/")iCab.de(/url) and from there, you can download the preview (it expires Jan 2001, when you have to pay for it).

OK, thanks. BTW, why don't you register? It took me about three minutes. It lets you have a signature and start topics, which is pretty much worth it. And you don't have to register the game EVO, if you're wondering .

Naaa... it'd be "Peace in the galxey" or something stupid like that. Those UE biased ************************************************************ that made the plug wouldn't want to have the UE sound warlike and ruin their image of Non-Agresors.

Why to Voinian lovers get to enslave us humans while we UE fans cannot bring freedom and democracy to our wetern enemies after climactic battle over Voinia? Has anybody ever thought of this type of plug-in? I've sort of started on one, but I don't think it'll be out anytime soon as I am in college. And another thing: for a total conquest plug, what kind of missions should I have. I know a lot of battles will be involved, but I think just epic battle after epic battle after epic battle would just get redundant. A nice variety of missons would be good, but what?God bless,

I actually wrote two long series of missions as part of development for a plug-in called "Terran Dawn" which was essentially ROTUEs. But I realized it wouldn't work because the UEs seek peace and how can I write about them conquering the Voinians when that would create war? It only worked to the point where the UEs freed the captured alien worlds and had the Voinians way back to the earliest territory. That, plus writing Voinians is much more fun.

You just wait.

**But not all humans are peaceful, like Admiral Tzu. Remember how he wanted to blast the stuffing out of those Free Huroners? And how so many UE military ships say "Death to the Voinian scum!"? That doesn't sound peaceful to me. And how all of those destroyer captains are so violent in the needle jammer missions? Remember that? The UE isn't really peaceful, and I don't think the makers of the game meant them to be pacifists or anything. Of course, the Voinians are much more warlike, but the UE isn't exactly Switzerland or anything.

Did you know that the UEs and Voinians are NOT at war. Yes i am telling a fact from the game. And you can check it by going to Pax station. So that means that the UEs are more agresseve. All the voinians attack are the Frontire Express ships. But the UEs hunt all voinian ships. I've even seen a few UE ships in VOINA!

I think what the description of Pax refers to is some temporary peace accord they signed. Because if they are at peace, why do the UE ships and the Voinian ships attack each other in uninhabited systems? And as soon as Voinian ships and UE ships see each other, they pretty much always start shooting. It just seems like the UE attacks first because their blaze cannons are faster. If you see a (url="http://"http://www.geocities.com/evosite/shipyard.html#vcruiser")Voinian cruiser(/url) and a (url="http://"http://www.geocities.com/evosite/shipyard.html#uedestroyer")UE Destroyer(/url) jump into a system at the same time, the Voinian ship starts launching fighters to attack the Destroyer before it starts getting hit by hunter missiles. And Voinians do attack other UE ships other than FE ships...they attack the person who's playing, for example. The Voinians are just as aggressive as the UE, if not more so.
