What the hell is with the "Atack The Rock" Mission???????????
The second that I jump into the system a whole bunch of fighter swarm me!!!!!
I stand NO chance and die in seconds!!

Red Mage, you should ditch the CW and go to the Voinian border. Capture a Voinian ship- since the weapons of the Crescent take down sheilds in seconds, Voinian ships, relying on armour are next to invincible! If you cannot get a Voinian ship (they are really hard to capture) do the Anna Baloshova and Paaren Station missions, buy a UE cruiser and add on the Voinian (Discospect) armour. That should work. The "Attack the Rock" mission is where you attack the renegade base on the Rock, and that's all I'm going to say.

I did it in a CW, and as for capturing the voinan ships in a CW, good luck. It'll take you ages.

I've beaten all the Zachit missions in a Lazira so consider that CW of yours a major advantage.

That Mission got me really angry.
Started all over, got a decent Lazira, got some Escorts (6 Aradas), did the UE-Mission to get the cloaking device, got a deadly rating and the Zachit-Missions up to "Attack the Rock", did the "Paaren-Station-Mission" until getting the "Full-Escort" from Knox to Paaren Station, just didn't go to Paaren Station but to the Rock - jumping in, getting cloaked and watching the Escorts (the Aradas + the UE-Ships) finishing off the Pirates. That's nice.
(There are some more Missions where those UE-Ships come in quite handy. And notice, they are different after each jump.)

Alright.... want an answer to your question???
It's possible to do in a CW, but it's hard... first off, I'd suggest ditching your rockets and getting some more turrets... personally, I really like what neutron turrets can do for a CW. Anyway, here goes...
Make sure that you have good escorts, maybe some CW's, Carriers, anything that shoots out fighters. That, and an afterburner. Jump into the system, and let your escorts fly off to attack. Now, the fighters will swarm after you. Start flying in the opposite direction. Fire on them as they approach, then when they get in their fire range.... afterburner away. keep flying away..... repeat until all are dead.
You could also get 6 Aggy warship escorts, and then cloak yourself right as you jump into the system.... but, that's much more dishonest

Get any escorts that carry fighters.Cloak immeadiatly when you enter.Said to be dishonest but it's fun!Just dont get cuaght in the crossfire.

Pardon me if I'm being dumb, but why would you want ships with fighters? Is it just because all the ships that carry fighters are really good?
