    • This is it for me...

Most of you probably dont even know me. This is probably because Ive only posted here once a month or so recently. I still come to #ev a lot, but that is the extent of my current involvment here.
The reason I am posting this is to let you know that I am now leaving — completely. I probably wont be coming back anytime soon. The reason for this is I wont have access to the internet. My parents, in their infinite wisdom, have seen fit to take away my computer (Despite the fact that it is legally mine, I payed for it).
I was active here until about March of this year, and I had been since EV 1.0.0 was released. Ive never done anything here, really, that is going go matter to anyone now, but it was worth it for me.
When I needed some friends, some help, whatever, you guys were here. I want to thank you for that. I guess this is finally it, then. Cya'll,

    • Although I registered too late to see any of your posts or otherwise know you, for what it's worth, sorry. I hope you can get Internet access back soon.

Visit my EVO web site (currently under construction) and tell me how it looks (via the poll at the bottom of the page or the guestbook)! It's at (url="http://"http://www.geocities.com/evosite")http://www.geocities.com/evosite(/url) !

I can't think of anything else to write...

    • Yeah, me too...

    • QW, you'll be sorely missed.. I still remember you teaching me the basics of IRC over two years ago when I first got online. Thanks for everything you've done for me and the rest of the EV Community.

    • Ah man, that really stinks. As one oldbie to another, I'll miss you. I've been missing you already, sort of...but now it's official. 😞

I remember when I first saw you, for some inexplicable reason, I thought your alias stood for QuickTime 1.2...especially since you'd been complaining at some time of having a way-too-old version of QuickTime...heh

Best wishes for wherever your life may lead. I hope you can return sometime.

sob All I can really guarantee is that I'll be here if you return...I have vowed to be one of the last people in the EV community to leave. I vowed that a LONG time ago...

    • I am sorry I never got to know you, but removal of your computer is really sad. I quote the Dies Irae of Mozart's Requiem Mass when I say, "Confutatis maledictis, flammis acribus addictis - When the damned are confounded, and consigned to sharp flames."
      Good luck!

    • Even though, like shayborg, I registed too late to know you, I am still sorry. May your (I'm assuming) Mac return to you soon.
