I was wondering what were the requirements to get the Voinan Mission String and where I have to go to get it. I took the UE cargo missions so that I could get more money and my combat rating is above average. Is this enough?

You did not screw up. You can do the cargo missions just don't do the rescue scoutship mission. What I would suggest is do the Miranu cargo missions and get at least a lazira. After you get a fair combat rating, go to Pax.

The first mission is to disable and board a (url="http://"http://www.geocities.com/evosite/shipyard.html#fc")freight-courier(/url), and people (like Lonevoinian) have said it's pretty hard. I agree...none of the (url="http://"http://www.geocities.com/evosite/shipyard.html#traders")standard UE ships(/url) or (url="http://"http://www.geocities.com/evosite/shipyard.html#otherhuman")other human ships(/url) except the (url="http://"http://www.geocities.com/evosite/shipyard.html#turncoat")turncoat(/url) or another freight-courier can destroy F-C's. Of course, you can always have a (url="http://"http://www.geocities.com/evosite/shipyard.html#uefighter")UE Fighter(/url) if you do things in the right order, but even with that it's really hard.

The only way you can do it in a freight couriour is if all the UE ships in the system are fighting a Voinian. If it's a crusier you just might be able to kill the ship it was fighting to.

I forgot about all those UE ships...but you're right, if they are fighting a Cruiser, it should keep them busy.
BTW, Lonevoinian, I said lots of good stuff in my review of the Cruiser. Take a look and see how you like it (url="http://"http://www.geocities.com/evosite/shipyard.html#vcruiser")here(/url). (You might have to scroll around a little, since the anchors aren't working very well). I even mentioned Borb.

I saw your page. The friget gets killed by destroyers. But I think the Crusier WOULD beat a carreir if neither of them had fighters. And the dreadnaught has a wep that lets 3 rockets be shot at the same time. There is a diffranse.

I couldn't agree more. A (url="http://"http://www.geocities.com/evosite/shipyard.html#uecruiser")UE Cruiser(/url) is probably the only ship in the game that can beat a (url="http://"http://www.geocities.com/evosite/shipyard.html#vcruiser")Voinian Cruiser(/url) in an AI-AI battle, although even that would be a pretty good fight.
