Frankly I'm not surprised by all this malevolence. It seems to be a staple of webboards across the world. Flaming is the dumbest for of human communication because it lacks any communication or sharing at all. Frankly I'm upset at myself that I got drawn into it. Conversely, I'm quite surprised that, as lunar 2 seems to think, I'm some kind of invading demon from the 666th dimension here to ruin your thread. I just added a corporate future to the thread, albeit fairly unclever, and many people jumped down my throat. I still beleive it wasn't any more annoying or inane than most of the things on this board, but I enjoy reading them because people are funny. Get over yourselves and get on with your story. Sheesh.

A single voinian walks in to the bar. "****! I wish they would fix that!" Takes a shot of brandy. "Geve me some more!" He shouts. Four hours and 500,000 credits of brandy later he decides to leave. "You forgot to pay the bill!" Shouts the bartender after him. "Aw... Gew fart uff. I gart a beag hudark. Leva ma alun!" The bartender draws his phased matter pistol and fires, with the intent of taking all the credits off the customer. The barf tinted bolt hit the voinion. Or did it? It was just absorbd by the thick hide of the voinian. "Yew fewl!" Said the voinian. "Dent chu new thet we get r inspreation fer ur amr frem ur skien? Phze blts dent hoet os!" He pulls out his neutron pistol and blastes most of the customers, bartender and bar to quarks. He suddenly passes out. A few miniuts later he awakes to people robbing him of all his credits. After blasting them and the rest of the bar to quarks, and stealing everybodys credits he walks out of the charred crater that once was the bar. He gets into the nearest ship he can find(Whitch just happens to be a Igzarda.) he takes over Freeport, Gorky, Mavs and all the strandless and independants, claming them in the name of the "Veronion" Empire.(He was still quite drunk.) After he alerted the Empire telling them of their new systems all the strands took 5 from killing eack other and started killing the Miranu, because they finaly found out that the Miranu were trading with the other strands. This just happed to coencide with The Great Voinian Assault On The Miranu.(The ancronym for The Great Voinian Assult On The Miranu was BORB. No one knows why, though.) with all these new counqusts the voinians got power hungry and took over all UE space and decreed that no saillen brandy gets shipped to anywhere besides Voinia itself.

yeah, and THEN Oedipus got pissed
"i was allright with him killing the bar, its rebuilt, BUT THIS IS GOING TOO FAR"
(walks over to his azdara, the flagship of his 200 strong warships)
(hyperjumps over to Voinia)
(tells his ship to remain just out of planetary weapons range, with their heay planetary bombardment cannons pointed toward the capital city)
(flies down to negotiate the saalian brandy crisis)
(half an hour later, the azdara is seen flying away from the planet at top speeds, followed by an explosion that scared the captains of the fleet)
"we came to an agreement, i would control the brandy, and they could have a brand new crater, or, a few craters, if you will captains"
(200 school sized beams smash into the planet, destroying five cities, including the capital of the race)
(two days later, the party is still going on at the freeport bar, where almost all the saalian brandy now goes)
but who knows what the once friendly Voinians are plotting against Oedipus, only time will tell...

O.K. that's enough time.
The mighty voinian Empire gets pissed off big time at the big craters where the practice sets for invading earth used to be. The mighty voinian war fleet sets off to kill Oedipus. They found him at the big party at freeport. While he was dancing with a x-tra stupid x-tra beutiful blond the Voinians were aiming their wepons at freeport station. When Odeipus was about to kiss the blond the Voinians started their bombardment. Oedipus cursed. "Why does the romantic part always get interupted?" He stalked of to his ship expecting to defeat the Voinians as easely as he did at their home system. But when he got to his ship he found that without their leader almost all of his fleet had been destroyed. He took off to try to save the day, but found he was vastly out numberd. There were at least 50 DREADNAUGHTS! He knew he could not Python that many, even in his almost invincibal adzera. He fled the system vowing to counqure all the Voinian Empire one day. Just as he is hyperspacing out of the system a Dreadnaught rammed him, causing his adzera to chang it's course. Nobody knows where he is now. Not even him.

uhhh, the chances that the slowest ship in the game could hit the fastest are abou 1 in 250,000,000,000,000,000, okay?
now, since i WAS rammed, and it i flew off to some strange place, ill continue
(Oedipus, not knowing where he is, lands on a strange planet, only to be greeted by angry mobs of what look like a cross between azdgari and dogs)
(after negotiating a talk to someone of power, Oedipus lands)
the conference goes well, and Oedipus soon learns that these are the outcast strand - because of their weapon and defence preference - the Dazigar. now, the Dazigar realized that having only shields was incredibly stupid, seeing as phased beams did a tremendous amount of damage to shields, but not to armor, so they decided to build ships with IMMENSE amounts of armor(almost more than the Voinians), and built a vast array of different types of weapons, one of which would be horrid to be caught against, if one like armor. this weapon i a sort of mini unguided rocket launcher, but had the same ammo capacity as a lazer turret, somewhat like an emalgha cannon, only better, and lighter. so, Oedipus, seeing this, decided to max out on these "burst cannons". and now, with three burst cannons, some more armo upgrades, and a fleet of his allies, Oedipus sets out to pay vengeance on the hated Voinians, and help out the Dazigar expand into Voinian territory...

(Samurai decides to help the UE in their struggle against the Voinians)
(In his massive fleet of UE Cruisers, he helps the UE capture Vorik, Svass, and a few other Voinian border worlds.)
(The main Voinian fleet catches up with Samurai, and a massive battle ensues. Samurai's UE Cruiser, the U.E.S. Steadfast, is wreaking havok in middle of a swirling mess of rockets, Neutron blasts, and Hunter Missiles. The power of the Voinian Dreadnoughts is too great, however. The Voinians have destroyed almost half of Samurai's UE Cruisers, When who should arrive but Oedipus and a massive fleet of Dagzair. The Voinian Fleet is caught between the Dagzair and the UE, and is eventually eradicated. The UE and the Dagzair form an alliance against the hated Voinians. Samurai is paid mucho credits for his part in the destruction of the voinian fleet, and flys back to the Freeport Bar to have some much needed brandy.)

(suddenly, a bleep comes from his transmitter)
"yeah, what?"
"Oedipus, we need your help again"(its the leader of the dagizar fleet)
"uh huh, what is it?"
"we want some of the prime worlds in the strandless systems, but they are defiant"
"okay, ill lead in two cycles"
"no, i mean therye attacking right NOW!"
"WHAT!?!!! OH SH*T im coming! Oedipus out"
(clicking the transmitter off, Oedipus hurries to the front of the ship to hyperjump into the middle of the fray)

Oedipus arrives at the battle to find the strandless attacking in a fleet of Crescent Warships. The Dagzair soon arrive, only to find that the strandless are equipped with NEUTRON TURRETS AND DOSPECT ARMOR!! "What can this mean?" Oedipus asks himself as he swivels in and out of the strandless fleet, blasting the hell out of dozens of crescent fighters. "Have the Voinians enlisted the help of the Strandless?" The Strandless fleet is subdued, as it is rather small. Oedipus retires to his quarters (finally) to reflect on this new development.
