I'm starting a new post. I want to save valuable board space. I have noticed that many of these posts on the board are one question posts. This is a waste of space and I plan to make this more efficiant. Ask me any question. Make sure it is short and concise and can be answered in one post or less (preferably EVO related but I'm open to just about anything). I f I can't answer the question, I'm sure someone else on the board can.

hmmm... good idea. Ok, here's my question I've been meaning to ask. How many "central objectives" are there in EVO? I've done two so far, and I'm wondering how many I'm missing...

Central objectives? If by this you mean important missions than... well... I have recieved about 6 or 7 so far. If anyone would like to add to that (because I'm sure there are many more) please feel free.

Hmm, by central objective, I mean the missions where, at the end of it, you get a text box saying "congratulations, by doing (insert mission accomplished here), you have completed one of the central objectives of EV: Override..." So far I've gotten two of those, one for the UE vs the Voinians, and one for the Miranu with the NP device. I'm not interested in spoilers, just curious as to how many more there are. I got 6-7 from Jive320, but I'm not certain we're on the same page about what a central objective is.

There are 3 centra1 0bjectives. UE/ema1gha/hinwar vs V0inian, Strand War, and Miranu NPD. The 0thers are a11 sma11 strings.

You can normally only get three with one pilot file. The one you haven't done yet is the destablization of the strand wars. You can get it by working for either the Zidigar, Igadzra, or Adzgari (

Alright, fine. I have a question for you all. I posted a strand earlier about the UE ship designer mission. Mr.T and (Sorry, I forget who :frown: ) answered me but both strategies did not work. Let me explain my situation.

The human renegades have stolen the UE ship designer. After visiting Lothe and destroying the Nadir I landed. I checked in the bar but there was nothing. I checked in the Freeport bar and found nothing. I began to search the galaxy searching for answers landing on different planets and stations.

This is when Mr.T pointed out the mistake of not boarding the Nadir after disabling it. I couldn't use the ESC trick or abort the mission. I couldn't abort it because it did not show on the mission info screen. I tried to follow the other persons (sorry again) suggestion but it didn't work either. The suggestion was to go to the mission info screen and find the mission which shoul have had a bullet beside it and then abort it. It didn't show up on the info screen so again I couldn't.

So everyone. What should I do?

Try going back to Knox, I think it is, and going into the spaceport bar to get the mission again. The mission must have automatically aborted or some such thing when you kind of messed up... heh. There is a possibility that you can no longer get the mission now that you have destroyed the Nadir. I'm not certain about how this all works out in terms of the EV game structure. If someone knows better than me, please reply!

well from looking at the "investagate abduction" missions in resedit, it appears that you can take the mission again, although i'd like to point something out too you: If you screw up a mission it will say "Mission Failed" in the lower left corner of the screen.

P.S. i have a question for you (Jive 320): where the heck did you come from!?!?

I havn't seen the mission failure thing so I'll try to go to the place where I got the mission. Thanks for your help and I'll tell you if it all works out.
