No one knows the answer!!?!!
Okay. My question was about how to get the Forklift weapon. I have it on another pilot but not on my new one. All I remember is that you have to press and hold "Option" and click on the title at the main menu. When "MCB 4:02 AM" or something, you are supposed to press and hold something until this goes off the screen. What do you press !!?!! Doesn't anyone know!!?!!

To Jive 320- To get the forklift you must hold down "command-control-option-shift-F" when "MCB 4:02 AM" comes on.

Question- I am replaying Frozen Heart but I can't complete the 2nd mision(go to planet Ashkelon by certain date). I gave it enough memory and did the mission right. I am using a G4 w/ MacOS 8.6. Could EVO 1.0.2 be interfering with Frozen Heart v. 1.0.4.

Sorry. I don't play Frozen Heart. I haven't really used any plugs. However, it sounds like you need compatible systems to play (like having them both 1.0.2). However, I could be very wrong. Sorry I can't be of much help, but I'm sure that someone else can answer. Again, sorry.

When Hera comes out, could you put EV ships in Ares? Does it have the same outline for sprite animation (36 frames, 6x6)

I just think it would be awesome to be able to play EV in Ares

I don't think so but I don't know what Hera is for sure. I doubt, though that you would be able to play EV in Ares.

That's a good strategy. That's usually what I do since I don't like to fight. Sometimes, though, you emerge in the middle of a firefight when you are jumping into a system at war. Then it is better to turn around and use a burst of speed form ylour afterburner first and then jump. Otherwise, you get all shot up while you are getting ready to jump. If you need to land instead, just get to the planet and land as soon as possible before you are blown up (remember that getting hit often knocks you off course, so you need to compensate, all the while asking for landing permission.).

Good point. When in situations like landing on Pax for the V. defector, always keep cool. Be patient. In V. space particuarly. Those rockets can really knock you around especially if you are in a small ship. You're kind of right about the whole avoiding the battles with a burst of speed, but just make sure you don't do this towards the planet or else you'll have to spend more time getting away from it.

Or, save even more time, and hold down the shift key while selecting systems. A bold green line connects the systems you select, and the computer will default to the next leg of the journey immediately. That way, you can just hold down the "j" key, and the ship will start up hyperdrive immediately upon arrival in a system.

Just be sure that the course you chose is the one you want to (or can) take.
