Ok... I've gone a little bit into the plug and just destroyed the Emalgha homeworld (actually, captured for the voinians, but whatever).... where do I go from here? I took a little break to travel into Igadzra space to steal some of their ships and now I don't know what I'm doing...... thanks.

After you conquered Emalghia, you should have gone back to Voina. There, the mision string continues for a while.

After the Emalghia falls, go to the Voinian frontier.....Or Voinia, Im not sure which...

Bomb is right. Go to Voinia. There you should pick up some missions leading to the UE Frontier.
