      Rebel fleet. The Rebel Destroyers would have a big part in the battle.

      They are pretty beffy whith torpedoes, proton cannons, and missles. Oh, and don't forget the heavy rockets. That is a pretty buff fleet.

      Fed Cruiser for carrier ops, reb destroyer for firepower.

      But seriously, get 6 Fed Cruisers together and you won't have a problem with anything in the game.

      Disable ships, board them, and capture them- adding them to your fleet as escorts.

      Hmmm... actually, back when I used to play this game from 3.30 to my bedtime (which was 8.30, at the time), I had a Rebel Cruiser fleet. Aw, the good ol' days.

      My Confed fleet was pretty awesome, too, but it was just too darn slow.

      Hehe. I took over Earth with my Rebel fleet. That was pretty sweet.

      Fed Cruisers. The AIs can do more damage with Fed Cruisers than any other ship type and it is also the most survivable ship type.
