Triad mission freakiness
Anyone else run across this?
I am on The Heist mission for Triad. I need to disable 4 ConEx convoy ships.
Each ship has 20T cargo, that's 80T cargo!
I can only board one ship, the rest say I don't have enough space (I have 30T free space).
The mission text says to disable and board all four ships, but nothing about how much room I need.
I can fix in ResEdit, but I just thought it odd.
The wierd thing is, I did bought a cargo expansion, and even after boarding all 4 ships, the total in my cargo hold was 20T.
And it happened on a later mission, also.
Sooooo, I just opened all the missions with ResEdit and changed the tonnage to 5.
kauthor: If I was just starting out, yeah, nice idea. I have a Blockade Runner, and there is no way am I going to buy a different ship.
The solution is to have a total of 40 tons cargo space free. The cargo total only adds up to 20, but it will not allow you to loot the ship unless you have another 20 tons free cargo. It won't fill up the 20, but you still need it, it's a bug.
That has happed to me, too. I did a mission where I had to board 6 ships and take their cargo. But, I boarded the first one gave me 20 and the rest didn't give me any. Not really sure, but maybe you only need 20 tons. Maybe? :huh:
