PoG keeps quitting on my when I am on the Plain of Endless winds. I am frustrated by this, and am saving frequently, but wonder why this is happening. I am using Mac OS X on a new iBook.

Should I switch and run it under Classic? Can I switch it and not have to start over again?

I know I have to find the Order of the Seasons on the Plain of Endless winds, and have covered the whole space, but have not been able to find it... what am I missing here? Could there be a relationship between the program quitting and my inability to find the Order of the Seasons?

Thanks for any help you folks could give me...

P.S. I have been in the cave at the ruins, but the elf on the bottom level of the cave tells me to leave him alone... there must be something I do not have that he wants!

1. try classic, I dont have X so I dont know

2. that cave is the order of seasons. you much look up "orders" and "order of seasons" in the tree, then he should talk to you.
   some ask the tree "order of the seasons" take out the "the"

Thanks, Arc-Angel... I gave up on the Plains of the Wind, and am now in the Temple near the north Swamp, and the game is quitting again on me here! Twice in the past ten minutes. I am registered, etc... but am going to try it in Classic to see if it is more stable.

Should this be reported to someone, and if so, who?

Also, I have the quest to get the Order of the Seasons, but do I need to do something more?

Have you added more memory to it?
The update someing out soon should some some of these problems
and having the quest should be enough to talk to the elf

I switched to classic, got the lamp from the temple in the northern swamp, then quit in classic. When I started up again in classic, PoG didn't think I had registered, and gave me the "you must register to play further" screen when I tried to reload my game...

When I tried to reenter my name and code, it then told me I was already registered. Go figure! I imagine the complications between OS X and 9.2 must be driving the programmers nuts, and is probably the cause of the delay. Let's all give them a hand for their hard work!

When I tried to reload PoG in OS X, it couldn't find my game until I put it back in the proper folder for OS X...

Hope they get all the wrinkles smoothed out, because it will put off thoses who aren't used to fooling with what's where, and get confused and upset...

Now that I have found the witch, I'll have to go back and see if the elf recognizes me... If he doesn't, I'll go through the switch to classic, and then back again. I am so hooked on the game, I don't want it to end, but can't wait for the CD!
