EV won't load up. It keeps demanding more memory. I add more but it does not work. I have version 1.0.5.

First, how much have you allocated?
Are there any plug-ins in the plug-ins folder?
Are you using an emulator on a PC?I have found that EV loads more smoothly if I am having trouble if I switch to 256 colors manually before starting.

About 250 over the normal amount.

You have plenty of memory, so it sounds like the new plug might be responsible. If you removed it, perhaps you corrupted one of the standard files. Look at the modify dates.
