Ah, uhm, this may seem like a silly question to the rest of you, but as you can see I'm pretty new to the game. Well, I just bought one of those little trader escort guys and I can't figure out how to use him, like get him to carry stuff for me or something like that. If any of y'all could help me, I'd greatly appreciate it. I'm thinking it's a bug, but...

What kind of ships did you hire? Only certain ships can carry cargo for you.
