Hit the print screen button on your keyboard. It copies it, then you can paste it somewhere as an image file.

Thanks for the tip, Jimbob! Unfortunately, since the emulator requires a "downgrade" to 256 colors, the test image came out looking like this:

Go into the settings tab in the Basilisk II GUI, set the display type to "Windows GDI", set the resolution to something lower than your desktop resolution, and run B2. Ta-da! A perfect window for taking pics.

I still don't understand. What I did is, while in the game, I hit PrtScrn, which put the image on the PC's clipboard. I went into PaintShop Pro and did a "Paste as New Image." This is what you see here. I didn't get any windows after hitting PrtScrn.

I meant in EV, you hit P then take the screenshot so it gets all of your stats, including cash and ship, reabable. That way the image can still be crappy but you'll have proof.

Why are we being limited to Rapiers (and less expensive)? Rapiers don't do well at all unless they're in a pack. Also, at what point are we starting the contest off? Do we start at the very beginning (brand new pilot in shuttlecraft), or once it's possible to be given a mission (and in a Rapier...)?

The fact that you can only use rapiers and less makes it challenging. It's not very hard to aviod getting blown up when you're cruising around in a Kestrel (and if you don't like the rapier you can always beef up an Argosy). And you have to start at the beggining with a shuttlecraft.

(edit) you can also capture some rapier escorts to create an armada of rapiers (you can also capture anything better than a rapier, but only if you capture it (i.e: you can only hire escorts that are a rapier or less).

Well, to deal with Ace's question, Snapz Pro does work in Basilisk, though it's a 30-day trial (I doubt many people would use it very much under emulation).
