Would you look at that, people are still playing Escape Velocity. I'm a newcomer to these boards, but I still remember staying up late beating the Confeds, than the Aliens, then beating the Rebels. EV has come a long way since than. Yet people are still making EV plug-ins. It speaks for the amazing game Escape Velocity is

yes it is, escape velocity is a great game. kinda wish i never hit my mac with a baseball bat after i got really pissed. now i cant play it anymore :frown:

Just for the record, I don't play EV anymore. Don't get me wrong, EV is a great game, I just have too many other things to do with my time than to play EV. The reason I still swing by here is because I'm the moderator.

There are many reasons someone should buy a PC, actually. A computer is supposed to be something that increases a person's productivity (well, for the most part... games really don't fall into that category :)). Whatever OS works best for that person is the OS that the person should use. Not everyone can afford multiple computers. I'm not one of those people, with three machines in my bedroom right now (iMac, G4 tower, G4 PowerBook), but that doesn't mean that everyone can.
