I'm not sure what to say. Half of me is screaming, THOSE DIRTY CHEATING RASCALS! The other half says, hey, there are alot of game like EV, but not all turn out just like EV and end up as something totally different, right? So why not just wait and see how the game turns out. I vote we listen to the calmer half of me and forget about this so called rip for a while.
Edit: Apparently this game was the 'Best of the Show' for some people at E3. I'm guessing this game is going to be seriously hyped too. (Kind of like a Diablo Expansion or something.) Know what that means? If this is really an EV clone, somebody will have to face my wrath. Evil grin*.
