    • Nah, I don't like'em because there just too slow. Though there looks just aren't me. But I go for ships with good quality not eggs with smooth shells.

I suppose that's a valid reason for prefering Rebel ships, but keep in mind that the speed of individual ships is not a critical factor in fleet to fleet engagements. Torpedoes and other such munitions are equally capable of striking both a destroyer and a frigate, or either of the two cruisers, considering that heavy evasive action would put the ships at risk from munitions striking them from other angles.

Excuse my unfounded ignorance, but how does that make you a skeptic?

Now, how does that relate to the appearance of a ship determining its quality? That is not a common assessment, and thus the absence of such a determination does not equate to being a skeptic.

Did you know that player controlled ships travel at (I'm pretty sure it's this) nearly double the speed of standard ships? That's why you can outrun missiles, and nothing in your class can keep up with you. So in reality, the Rebel ships are nearly as manueverable as you perceive them to be. Besides, in reality, a Confederate Cruiser can decimate a Rebel Cruiser any day.

When you are that far in the game, credits are no object. Assuming of course, you have a few planets conquered...
