    • How do you destroy a large Tronoth?

      I'm playing "Quantumire," and have been given the order to go with several Atlantean cruisers and destroy all the Tronoths in the area (I forget the name of the system). When I get there, I have no trouble destroying the small Tronoths, but the large ones seem impossible to destroy! Even the Atlantean Cruisers just stand by and watch. Just what is the best way to kill a large Tronoth?

      Use the Light Burst Generator multiple times, and fire with all primaries constantly. I hope you have an Organic Shielding and a ship that can take a LBG hit...

      I'm in an Activated Devastator (I think that's what it's called). So, yes, I can withstand the LBG. On the small Tronoths, Tyr'kyl, and pirate I used my Peanut Spoons and primaries in combination. From a distance (on the Tyr'kyl and pirates I also like to use the Forklift). I'm looking for the black hole now! Did you keep getting the same "Look for Bunnies" mission over and over? I did! For the mission to destroy all the Tronoths attacking Homeworld system, I found out that, even if they were red-lighted, if I didn't make any threatening moves or fire on them, they would usually leave me alone! Eventually, I got tired of trying to kill those big ones and landed back on Homeworld to a hero's welcome! Strange how things turn out in this plug, huh?
