i was wondering if there was an icon set made up of EV ships anywhere? i made my own custom little HD icon with the original escape pod (it kicks override and nova escape pod arse), but i was wondering about other ships, and stuff... like a bulk freighter for all my folders, and a defender for my trash can...

Open the "GRAPHIC" file with "Res Edit" choose the "version" of the ship picture
(the comm, the shipyard or the "gaming" 
pict) open the chosen picture (double click on it), mark it, choose copy (in the "EDIT" menu), go to the desktop create a new folder, choose "show info" (or what it is called in enlish, in swedish it is "visa info") mark the small pict of the icon, and choose "PASTE" (in the "EDIT" menu).
eventually you have to change the size of the pict before you paste it.

i guess you didn't figure that i already knew how to make icons (i have the escape pod as my harddrive) 
what i'm more interested in is how to make icons in OS X... that is: how do i set a mask, and stuff, without res edit?
but now this topic really should be on the dev board... who knows :rolleyes:
