      How do you get into the rebel systems do you have to finish a mission or what

      Yes you do, you need to finish a few of them they aren't very hard though (don't quote me on that I haven't played it in a very long time), but once you finish them you can go to the rebel systems, until then they are hidden.

      Sorry for being so vauge, but I'm not at home right now so I can't actually tell you.

      I believe that in Empire 2, you have to side with the triad to get the rebel tech and, I suppose, meet the rebels. I can't remember exactly where the triad is based, but you can pick up their mission string from Blackthorne, at about a 10% probability each time you land. You'll need to have a certain combat rating (I think it might have been dangerous, but I'm not sure - check the read me that came with the plug, its in the FAQ section, under "who can i play for" or something like that), but other than that you just follow the string. Other than that, I can't really help you - I've hardly got into E2 myself, I'm too busy trying to take over sauridia in Heart of Darkness for the Weave... but thats a different story. I'll get back to my beam cruiser now, if you don't mind...
