    • So yeah, someone help please.

Heres the deal, I've spent the last hour and a half trying to take over Mars, and it's simply not possible, that I'm aware of.
Now don't get me wrong, it's not like I'm dying or anything, it's that I've killed about
1000 (literally) of those stupid little ships, and they won't stop comming out...

Does it usually take this <insert adjective here> long to take over Mars, or am I forgetting to do some lame mission or something...please help...asap.

    • It takes a 2-3 hours for each planet in Sol if you do them one at a time.

    • If I were you I wouldn't even bother with those, unless you got a whole lot of time.

      ------------------

    • If I didn't already go as far as I have on it, I wouldn't bother...but after Mars, I'm done...this is beyond annoying.

    • Well, you have to admire your persistence.

    • Yep, Sol is hell to take. Its actualy suprising that so much could come from such a little stardock (Stardock Alpha). It makes you wounder, how big is stardock Alphae, Really?. But yes, All the planets in sol are dominiable.

You can get a pretty good idea of its size by looking at its landing picture. Remember, Stardock Alpha is so close to Earth that the planet could be supplying some of the defence fleet.

    • 5 hours, 6 cans of coke, a box of cheez-its, and 3 CDs later, Mars is still NOT taken over, and I quit.

Let's see, if I average my kill rate to about 1 ship every 8 seconds, divide 60 by 8, gives me 7.5, multiply that by 60, giving me a ship kill rating of 450 ships/hour...

multiply that by my total time spent over the last two days, this equals...
3150 Annoying confederate ships...and no successful takeover..

      Lame.

    • Most people don't know this, but you can attack a planet's fleet, take out, say 25%... leave, land and then go back and they will still have %75... go back the next day... another 25%... just take your time and save often 😉
