Nick didn't really care what happened to him now. The Confederation was dead, but hopefully the other players would understand that it had just been mercenary work. It was foolish, but Nick was not aware of the alliance at the time he agreed to help the Confederation. The 7 new Ares Carriers were truly magnificent. Nick ordered a firepower test on a derlict kestrel floating by. 28 torpedoes firing consecutively each of the 7 sets of 4 torpedo tubes were quite amazing to see, and Nick smiled as the kestrel disintegrated into nothingness.

He thought back to the days during the Great War when he had served as a helmsman and smiled as he put the nimble little Corvette through a seiries of twists and rolls so complex that it was almost impossible to follow. After a little bit more playing around he jumped into the Sol system.
