if you think this is over powered look at the improvements over the Argosy with the Rebel Desroyer. and read the description of the Rebel Destroyer in the game. it says that it wasnt that good because it was a freighter at heart. the Kestrel was always a Combat ship at heart so the Rebel Warbird should be much better than a Destroyer.

This ship is implemented during the game I believe after the Particle Beam missions but I could be wrong. Regardless it is in the standard EV Scenario (take a look with ResEdit) but Skyblade seems to have left it out. I am pretty sure David Arthur posted something about it... do a search and I am sure you will find it.

The Confederation CUP-I is the upgraded cruiser mentioned after the particle beam mission string. The cruisers are implemented through the përs resource, as confirmed by David Arthur in a previous thread. They are similar to the stock cruiser except with 1000 shields, a gunboat bay and two gunboats, and particle beam.
