I recently stole some krans from an alien tick. They're taking up weapon space and I want to get rid of them. Is there anywhere I can sell them? Thanks in advance.

Discussing galactic scourge, I have not been able to use the jumpgates to get to alien planets. Can someone please help me here? I checked the readme and stuff, but it doesn't say.

You need to complete some missions first, probably for NASA, IIRC. You don't start out with the ability to use the gates.

Are those missions (NASA,IIRC)related somehow to the rebel or confed mission series?
I´ve finished confed missions and trying to complete rebel missions too (at least trying,I haven´t found the next mission on that serie,I´ve only delivered only those munitions).

You could put the cheats that came with the plug into the plug-in folder and sell those on Levo. Unless you don't want to use the cheats.

You need to complete the mission to escort a NASA(Ithink) official to some new spaceport adn then(on the same place you complete the mission) to some alien planet, because they activated the jumpgate to that region.
