Does anyone have a list of the number of defenders you have to defeat when trying to dominate various planets? Sure would be nice to know that before trying to go after some planet. I've poked around with ResEdit, but don't know what exactly I'm looking for (or how to interpret what I find). I find some resources that are named Defdude & Defcount, which I suspect are what I'm looking for, but don't know how to interpret the info. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Each planet has it's own number of ships and it's own fleet of **** that it sends at you. Those are the fields you want to be looking at. I suggest you take a peek at the EV Bible sometime if you are having trouble interpreting the numbers you see in ResEdit. Sorry I could not be of more help by posting a link to the bible or a guide, but I have to go. Take a look at the EV addons section for guides and the bible.

DefenseDude is a (url="http://"http://www.evula.com/ev_bible/part2-dude.html")düde resource,(/url) which contains different types of ships. DefenseDude determines what kind of ships the planet defends itself with.

DefCount is the number of ships. See the actual bible note about that, as it involves just a wee bit of math.
