Admiral RakŐs eyes glazed over the powerful HC force in orbit. His mind gradually digressed from the viewport in his quarters and wondered to the Kaujathat affair. He tried to avoid it, be he knew heŐd have to confront it sometime. A group of his most elite soldiers were wiped out by a booby trap. The only survivor was Field General Peter Seagle. He had survived only because he was in the shielded room containing the access panel to the door. According to Seagle, the door had opened approximately half way when a blinding flash, emanating from the control room, rocketed into the chamber where the soldiers were. The blast door that he had been opening was violently ripped out of the wall, careening through anything in its path. It was followed by a wave of heat and flames. Instinctively, Seagle ran into the intense fire. He found three gunners who had jumped into an APC alive. He told them to wait for him at the exit while he went further into the flaming mess.
Rakes euphoria was interrupted by Dr. Cartwright, who informed him that he had a meeting with Admiral James in forty minutes. Cartwright told Rak to follow him. Rak dutifully followed Cartwright to the Death Incarnate , a decked out shuttle which had served in many pivotal battles in the history of mankind. She had been designed during the Great Expansion to serve as the personal shuttle for Grand Marshal Perry Carnipler. Carnipler used the Death Incarnate as a boarding ship in the pivotal Battle of Yemuro, which gave the HC the momentum they needed. The Death Incarnate was famous for one incident, however. It had single-handedly destroyed an entire Alien task force, and became the symbol of the Navy.
The Death Incarnate dropped Rak off planet side and sped away. Rak still wondered why the shuttle didnŐt wait for him, but he didnŐt object. After all, it was a command shuttle that belonged to the Cloak & Dagger. Rak met up with Admiral James in a hastily constructed resturant. Around them were many humans and even a few Aliens. The Aliens accepted the Human force very liberally, celebrating their new freedom. The Alien administration had been eradicated, and the locals were milling around with the Humans.
Rak spoke softly to Carno: ŇHello Admiral James. I have decided the time is right to take Irrakis. Without any Alien fleets in range we should be safe. I am going to combine our two fleets to form the 16th Composite BattleGroup, and I shall command the fleet in one concentrated assualt. Stay here and take command of the planet. Once the regional governor has been instated, come to Irrakis.Ó With that, Rak left the table and boarded a transport back to his ship.

From the helm of the Cloak & Dagger, Rak issued the order to enter hyperspace

Exiting hyperspace, RakŐs fleet immediately assumed combat formation. He sent out a fighter screen, and hailed the planet. He demanded that they surrender to the HC or face deadly orbital bombardment. His message was met with silence, and long range scanners detected two Alien Cruisers and four heavy fighters exiting hyperspace. RakŐs ships began launching barrages of torpedoes at the two Cruisers, while his Stingrays started launching HALOs at the heavy fighters. The Cruisers replied by unleashing a juggernought of seekers modules at the Skyhawk Carrier. The Skyhawk took evasive action, but it was hopeless. The seeker modules streaked in at high velocity, blowing numerous holes in the Skyhawks hull. As the last few seeker modules impacted the disabled ship, its reactors imploded. The shipŐs wreckage disappeared into space without a wimper.
Meanwhile, the torpedoes had finally reached their destination. They catapulted into the Cruisers' hull. One Cruiser was outright destroyed, the other heavily damaged. Over a hundred torpedoes had already impacted the remaining Alien Cruiser when RakŐs Enterprise BattleCruiser came beside it. Before the Alien ship even knew what had happened, it split into four parts due to intense fire. Heavy rockets streamed out of their launch tubes aboard the Enterprise, further distorting the rapidly decomposing Alien vessel.
The four Alien fighters fared no better. Three were instantly shredded by a massive swarm of HALOs. The remaining fighter stunned almost every single officer in the comm room of the Cloak & Dagger... it surrended.
Irrakis Captured by Fleet Admiral Alan Rak, it is now controlled by the Human Confederation.
