Please feel free to brag and also, give advice to anyone, exspecially if they want a powerful one-handed weapon so they can use a shield with their level 21 Squire.

Weapon: Most expensive I can buy, which currently is the Longsword of the Bear.

Armor: Again, most expensive I can buy, which was formerly the Plate armor from the
Fantrima blacksmith. However after killing a Mind Hunter I aquired a suit of dwarven
splint mail(36 armor compared to 15 armor, a 21 point gain! Woo woo!). So that is what
I currently am wearing.

Shield: Common theme, best I can get. I had the best that Fantrima offered(the DrivaTan
one, I think), and then I killed a Mind Hunter who dropped a dwarven shield(10 armor
compared to the 5 armor of the Fantrima shield). I then succumbed to the adventurers
disease, and had to fight "just 1 more" before I saved my game.. Thus, after reloading
my last saved game, I'm back to my DrivaTan shield. heh.

I prefer to fight with a one-handed weapon and a shield. I have the Elven Bow of
Destruction, although I've never used it. Maybe I'll give 'er a try a bit later though,
and go goblin hunting. Thats always worth a laugh or two.

I haven't played recently, and haven't been too focussed on PoG in later days, so the names are getting pretty shaky. I use a shield and sword, and some armor which does not limit motion. My equipment is all the best money can buy at the town which begins with a b(berglum or something like that...) which follows these guidelines. I also carry the elven long bow you pick up in the cave outside fantrima, and the lamp which gives +50 to undead protection from the monastary type thing.

+14 speed is a lot cooler than 153 armor.

ArcAngel - you spent way too much time building up that character. Can you kill the guardian in one hit yet?

..."Ring of Gods"?! I never found that thing, nor have I heard of it before. Care to give a spoiler?

Preferred weapon: Dwarven Runic Sword (heavy damage rating, +3 dexterity, and it's free if you know where to look)- can't stand bows.
Preferred armor: Elven Full Plate, Lilith Shield or Divine Lamp, Necklace of Stone or Heldan Hat, Boots of Lightning, Ring of Unicorn or Ring of Snake.

Well, I beat the game around L22, then reloaded my guy before the guardian and leveled up so I could try to kill sea giants.
But now I can kill sea giants in 9 (almost hits, and the guardian in about the same, and usualy he dosent even get a chance to hurt me.

Ring of the Gods came from killing sea giants
