i thought you had to have at least a combat rating of dangerous
and than you can get the first mission at any weave planet
there is (if i remember correctly) a 10% chance of getting it
(just go to the bar if you don't get it go to the mission computer and take a mission
than delete the mission and try again in the bar just do this as often as is neccesary(sp?) it worked for me )

(i always wrote you last year about your emp trilogy, andrew jones) ive been waiting for this for SO damn long. the empire plugs were always my favorites, especially dark horizons, now i cant wait to download the new one when i get home. do you have any new information for your next plug?

Yeah, Heart of Darkness is a quality plug, unfortunatly I think I've just destroyed my pilot file when it came to trying to dominate Hunn'sach or whatever it's called - I landed to complete the mission without dominating the planet, and so the mission ended, but it wouldn't give me the next part. I dominated the planet at a later date, and got the following parts of the mission, so Ov'ron is no longer terran empire, but now they don't want to give me anymore missions... damn. Oh well, looks like I'll have to start all... over... again...

Oh, shade, I did see you - unfortunatly, you flew across my beam cruiser's X-ray beam as I was taking an attack cruiser to the cleaners, and became hostile, so all my escorts layed into you (3 missile cruisers, 1 comm ship - for the mines, you understand - 1 battleship and 1 attack cruiser), so unfortunatly your person is now dead. I'll tell you what though - those cult ships are hard as nails. I had to dust off the old neutron turrets to take you down without losing any of my escorts.

Anyway - great plug, Tim - can't wait to see what you do with Nova when it comes out. Might be nice to fly for the weave in 32-bit goodness, but I suppose that the Empire series is over. But still... looking forward to whatever comes next. Keep up the good work!

But I know that Fleet Commander Isles,as he is known,has a monitor which only does 256 bit colour.So if anything comes out of his wonderful head for Nova,it will likely focus on aaaaalll those looooveeely new features rather than the upgraded graphics quality.

Look, Shade, nothing would have made me happier than to pay you off and let everyone go about their lives as normal, but I only had 109.6million credits, so as you can see I was really strapped. Anyway, it doesn't matter now - my pilot file is done for, thanks to my stupidity. I knew that I should've dominated the planet the first time.

256-bit colour? Is that all. I do take it you mean that he only has 256 colours, which is... 8 bit, I think. 256-bit is around billions of colours, isn't it? Even if he does only have 256 colours, if his nova plugs are anywhere near as good as the nova series, it'll be a special treat indeed.
