Alright, sorry about being gone all weekend without saying anything. I thought I was going to have time to let you all know before I left, but I ran out of time.
Since no large objections have been voiced, Jager will now be an Alien. Jager, go ahead and pick out your new Alien fleet, and where you'd like to start. RC, if you can give me a rank and number in the next couple of days, I'll use those, otherwise I'm guessing for you.
I'll start this at about 12:00 am EST Thursday. I don't exactly want to start on, before, or after Christmas Day, since I'm sure we'll all have more important things to do.

While you're making those changes, you probably noticed that you skipped the 2nd and 3rd alien ranks. I see that a friendly fleet suddenly appeared in front of mine, and that's a load off one's mind. Did you pick 49th fleet just randomly or because the 49ers rock?

Ok, we've started, and 13 minutes early, even. Topic is available for viewing/posting.
I've also updated the map with all developments up to this point, included added money for governments because of the turn 1 income. Next round of new money is on page 4. and you can spend what you have any time between now and then, or save it for later.
Remember that fleets engaged with enemy forces or away from home grounds can't be reinforced, however. Such fleets will show up slightly different on the map, unless your using a browser which neither draws a box around link images nor supports CSS rollovers. I think OmniWeb may be about the only one. :frown:
Anyway, this will be our first discussion thread, so post any complaints, questions, etc. here. New research can probably go here or in the topic, depending on how you want to introduce it.
