But guess what! Yep, I have a whole nother problem.

For some God-Forsaken reason, I can't add any Plug-Ins to the game - besides EV Tuner and More EV Voices - and be able to play the game.

I wanted to play the Empire Trilogy , so I put Empire 2.1 into the Plug-Ins folder. But when I started the game up, it plainly froze at about 75% of complete loading. This happend four times. Each happening at the same point of loading completion.
So, then I put in Talon , but to no avail. I got a 'memory' error at about three notches from loading completion, that said: Escape Velocity encountered an error while starting up. Probably due to lack of memory. Please increase.... And it was in green screwed up color. The button was green and the text had a bit of outlined green. The green is probably because Talon has green colors instead of whatever EV had as default.

I have not been able to play EV for two days now. And I'm starting to regret that I ordered it. Which reminds me; I still haven't gotten my Registration Code, yet my US Bank account has

You did try to increase the memory, though? Even if you have, increase it more.

If you don't know how to increase mamory: highlight the EV file, go to file(I think), select "get info", then select "memory", increase "suggested memory" up a little, if it still doesn't work double the memory, and if it still won't work, keep increasing memory until it will load up. I had to quadruple the memory to play Galactic Scourge. Hope that helps!

Well, come to find out, I had increased the memory, but I had a conflicting file in the Plug-Ins folder. It was More EV Voices. Weird eh? Well, I re-downloaded More EV Voices, and now it's okay.
Hm? Weird.

And I did send a message to lostcodes@AmbrosiaSW.com but I haven't recieved anything back. This topic post was a few hours ago though, so I have cooled down.

Just so you don't get disillusioned, you won't hear from them until Monday, because they don't deal with license code issues on Fridays or weekends. They aren't singling you out, it's standard. If you don't have it by Tuesday, start worrying, but I bet you'll have some type of reply by then.

There is nothing whatsoever in the Talon plugin that changes the colours used by Escape Velocity.

TSB, I'm pretty sure that every single problem that you have had with EV is user-error... Don't be mad at it. Lack of memory, conflicting plugins, Data file corruption.... As for your serial number, that is ambrosia fault. Patience...

Yeah I noticed that when I started to play it again. Well, your Plug is the only Plug that when I get memory errors the text and 'okay' button are green. And one time, when EV crashed about a month ago due to my lack of intelligence, my desktop was in all shades of green. Even the desktop image. And the icons, the folders that I had tabbed on the bottom of the screen, the toolbar, everything. But that's okay. All I have to do to restore it is go into Appearance and set the desktop again. No problems though. Just different colours.

I had the same problem with GS. I tried increasing RAM and everything, then I tried re-downloading, and stuff-it doesn't work. My luck...
