OK this really is an EV question but I hope no one minds if I post here. I'm using a basic Rebel Cruiser. No edits, cheats, plugs or anything else. I have 4 mantas outside of the bay flying with me. When I warp into the next system I suddenly have 8... Now thats pretty cool because Mantas are kind of underpowered so the more the better I figure. I get into a battle with a Confed Cruiser and I lose 2 Mantas in the process. So I take the ones I have left and dock em so there shield will get back up and then deploy em again. Now I have 8 again...

I keep playing and the Mantas keep multiplying by 4 (I suspect because 4 is the original number) Also everytime I lose mantas they come back the next time I deploy. I've had 6 Mantas reappear at once for no reason. I don't even have to land or warp in I just have to dock and deploy them. I just stopped playing and I've already got 24 Mantas in a matter of 10 minutes. It's not some type of graphical glitch either, they work just fine and they take longer to dock and deploy because there's so many of them. Anyone had this happen or have any ideas?

Hmm. What version of EV are you using? I've never seen anything like that happen with 1.0.4 or 1.0.5.

Neither have I. If you aren't using 1.0.5, you should definitely upgrade. If you are, you should re-install EV and see if that fixes the problem.

I find myself wondering why you would want to fix such a "problem". I would be tempted to keep quite and take over the galaxy with The Invincible Multiplying Fleet!

No, that would be the reaction in Nova. In regular EV, it would suicidally plunge on and become a martyr.

I don't see how this is happening to the Rebel Cruiser, but I remember that ships with multiple bays can multiply its fighters by deploying when only 1 fighter is in the bay...
