Rak, sensing the commotion, draws his high powered neutron shock rifle. He gets outside and is rocked to the ground by a huge explosion emenating from the Clipper. As the hail of schrapnel subsides, he fires a burst of neutron rounds at the Clipper. It is utterly decimated, and in the nearby vicinity, Macavenger is killed by the inferno.

Without even aiming it, Rak pumps fifty rounds into The Thought Police's leg. TTP goes down hard. Brandishing an arrest warrant class 9 subsection 78c, Rak arrests him.
That's 500K bounty, Rak thinks, as TTP is being hauled away to the Regulas II Federal Penal Colony.

As Insano is sifting through the debris of the Clipper, Rak is silently aiming a proton bolt pistol at the back of Insano's head. After Insano has collected one javelin pod, seventy eight javelins, two proton bolt cannons, the shield matrix generator, and the main computer, GR blows his brains out.
"Thanks for the work, Insano," he says as he collects up the equipment and puts it on an armoured transport headed for his store, Rak Survival Associates.

Mac has by now reincarnated himself on the bridge of his Corvette. As Rak walks away from the transport ship, Mac's Corvette hits him with a Heavy Rocket followed by a pair of Missiles launched amid a saturation pattern of Laser Turet fire. Rak is melted into a small grease stain on the ground. Mac then hypers to the Regulus system.

Mac screams through the atmosphere of Regulus II in his Corvette, blasting down all Confederate fighter opposition. Landing on the surface, he and his marines quickly break in, find The Thought Police, and rescue him. Thought Police is taken back to the Boozerama on Mac's Corvette. Mac buys him a new Scoutship to replace the Clipper that Rak destroyed.
Oh, and if anyone's wondering, I activated Regulus II in my plug.
It now really is a penal colony.------------------
