    • As long as we're on the topic, what must one do in order to get karma? A specific good deed or just general likeable-ness? Or is it just a money issue? ๐Ÿ™‚

Most people use money bribes. Sometimes, however, for whatever inexplicable reason, a mod will give you karma if you're just nice. Read the webboard guidlines for more.

    • I'de like to read the guidelines. I'de like to work on my crappy little site. I'de like to be off curing cancer or saving babies from defective baby carriers or something but I'm doing homework... I could hardly find time to write this short and snotty paragraph for the board ๐Ÿ™‚ In conclusion, homework is sadistic, monotonous and pointless. Blegh I gotta go.

      Agreed. Down with Homework!

Anyway, just be a good citizen, try to be helpful, don't insult the mods (or members, for that matter), probably nothing you can't figure out by yourself. I might also add that this isn't the best board to receive karma on, the mods here are so inactive that we generally have no means whatsoever of telling that their present (as mods, EVula's been around a bit lately), which is not totally bad, but I do think certain members here deserve higher karma than what they have. Anyway, the Nova board may be one of the best places if you're intelligent and helpful, particularly with Tom threatening to go on a karma binge. ๐Ÿ™‚

OTOH, it's not that big a deal, unless you're in the red, as certain members coughwraith, Mousecough can attest to.

The site is nothing, yet. Just a banner with a chapter of a story... later I hope to add more. The banner really is kick ass, captain skyblade, thanks.

Your site is looking good, and I'm sure it will take shape as time progresses. Again, you're more than welcome for the graphic. If you need any additional images, just let me know.

    • Alright, cool. Hey, if anyone has anything to contribute (and I mean anything: Tips, screenshots, stories, upcoming plug info; anything ev related) please email me at ares1@cfl.rr.com because the site can't grow if it doesn't get some content.

Speaking of adding additional sections (as you've mentioned) to your website, will you be adding a "links" section? Also, feel free to use this page and its links (old ones I made) for your website if you like. Copy the HTML directly if you like.

      (url="http://"http://tmgmedia.net/tempo/ev.html")http://tmgmedia.net/tempo/ev.html(/url)

Or if you want to go directly to my old "up-for-grabs" ev shipyard and outfit sections, click below:

      (url="http://"http://tmgmedia.net/tempo/evshipyard.html")http://tmgmedia.net/...evshipyard.html(/url)
      (url="http://"http://tmgmedia.net/tempo/evoutfits.html")http://tmgmedia.net/.../evoutfits.html(/url)

Again, use them to your will.

    • Thats a pretty cool image map you've got there. Once I actually have some content I hope to do something more original than what I have (a list of "features" preceding a news section).

Yeah, I will throw up a links section tonight. Thanks for the idea.

      You're more than welcome.

Since you'll be throwing a links section up, would you mind adding "Saber Studios" when you get the chance?

    • Due to astronomical amounts of homework and the limitations brought upon us by the fourth demention (time), I will not have a link section up tonight. Perhaps tomorrow... I've been working a lot lately. We just renovated our kitchen and I'm getting behind in my school work... So updated on the site may become few and far between. I hope to get some stuff done on the site this saturday and possibly on tuesday, because we have that day off. Don't expect much until then...

Don't worry, we all can relate. I'm homeschooled, so homework can often really get a grip on me.

    • Really? Why are you homeschooled? If it's because the public school systems are absolute CRAP, then I guess you're right. I would want to be homeschooled, except for the fact that it limits your social life. Well, mine anyways. My whole social life revolves around people I know at school, and if I didn't know that at school I wouldn't know them at all.

    • I know of the homeschooled life, having been raised in one, and I can't really see what's so attractive about the public schooling system. Granted, I have little experience, but why would you want to get up, sit through hours and hours of school, etc. etc. etc. For me, I'm usually done by 12, and my mom stays at home, so I have to say that the only reason a public school is superior (assuming you have a choice) would be the sociality. I'm more of a loner, so I don't really miss it too much.

I've been homeschooled all my life, and I'm now well into highschool (and man, I love it). If you ask me about the public school system, yes, I think it is in trouble at the moment. Although homeschooling does somewhat limit your social life, that is what I prefer. I don't know very many people compared to others, but I've managed to find some of the best friends anyone could ask for (all of which are homeschooled as well).

You're usually done by 12? Wow... Being homeschooled, I work from around 5 in the morning (I get up that early by choice), and finish up at around six in the afternoon. Sure, the days are long, but it's possible I could be finished with highschool in two years.

Well, I'm very glad to hear that! But we're not the only ones... Cap'n Carno (a good friend of mine) is also homeschooled, as well as Skunko and ElGuapo...

Heh, I believe everyone has atleast seen Cap'n Carnotaur post. He's the top poster here (unless you count andrew). Both Cap'n Carno and ElGuapo were members of my old Corsair Development team, and I intend to try to get a hold of them again for my possible Saber Studios development team.

I don't know Skunko that well either, but I do know he's homeschooled. You can find him posting over at the Banter and Brawl forum.

    • Yeah, but you're third ๐Ÿ˜„ How andrew has enough time to make 12,000 posts and still run a business is beyond me...then again, he's been here since the dawn of time ๐Ÿ˜› and hasn't ever changed his username
