    • EV memory problems

      I have memory set a 120mb for EV, and its giving me problems. Im playing the Empire 2 plugin, and thats what seems to have started the trouble. Everytime I try to board a ship it freezes. My extensions are all in order, VM is off ( i tried on as well), i zapped pram, rebuilt the desktop... I have 160mb RAM so it has plenty to use. I even dumped the prefs. Whats wrong with it?

      I removed the 1.0--> 1.3 updater and it seems to work fine. Hrm.

      Welcome to my world, ares1. Yet another unfortunate bug. Anyhow, I never played with the updater anyways.

      I've noticed that neither Override or Escape Velocity will work if you give them too much RAM. Since I've been using Override to test my graphics, I've been needing plenty of extra RAM. I tried starting up Override with 200mb RAM, which didn't work. I then lowered it to 120mb RAM, still no luck. However, it's been running fine at 70mb.

      Hey, can someone here do me a quick favor? Do to lack of HD space, I don't have any decent graphics software. Can someone make me a banner that says "The Legion" in an EV-like way? I mean with stars in the background and that kinda stuff. I can't offer any money, but I will mention your name in the credits. I just ned a.. hrrm... Well, size doesnt matter that much. Just anything that will look good on top of an EV webpage that says "The Legion" works for me.

      Also, whoever helps me out can have their own character in the webstory, as well as their name in the credits.
