OK, I seem to recall that EV does not allow screenshots using the standard (shift)+(command)+3 during gameplay. I've also heard that there is a way to set up an Applescript or something which will allow you to take shots while flying, but have never seen how to do it. Can someone walk me through that here?

And yes, I know SnapzPro will do it, but other than an occasional full screen grab in EV for a limited time, I'm not going to have any use for it, so I don't really want to shell out the money for it if I can set up a script to do it for free.

use snapz pro, or find a cheap free screen capture utility. personaly id just buy snapz pro, or use the demo

Yes. It has a time limit, and a very short one at that. You can only usew it for 15 days before it deactivates.

Thanks guys, but it's kind of a moot point now, as I would think you could tell, since I have some screens out... used Snapz Pro X. Snapz Pro 1 and 2 don't cut it, the thing that seems to work is when EV is being run under emulation (Classic, in my case), as it can't block out actions on the system emulating it.

Snapz Pro 2 DOES work in EV. Just make the default cmmd+F3 different. Make it something like /12 (slash 12) That's what I have. It woks fine. And when it doesn't, you just gotta hit it a couple of times.

/12 doesn't seem like a very convienient command. Also, Hitting it a couple of times emphatically does not cut it, I had some very specific ideas in mind for what I wanted these screens to look like, and if I had to try twice, I'd lose the content and have to start over.
