    • Um, how do you kill the Escape Pods? Aren't they invincible? Or do you have to try to hit the ship next to them with a forklift? I understand that's the way to try to kill Hector.

I had a friend one who made a plug with a government called the NRI, I'll let you guess what that stood for. Most of their planets were defended by about 30 Light Freighters, which came at you all at once. It was rather entertaining. I'm not sure how, but he had something like a 10% chance that they would just surrender on the first request to, and I saw it happen, so I know he wasn't making that up. Crazy.

    • The escape pods leave the planet, and a few seconds later mysteriously disappear, as if they've realized that they won't be very effective. My plug also changes the text you see when you dominate, so instead of seeing something about a defense fleet coming at you, you see the planet panic and start an evacuation. Then when you demand tribute again, it tells you the planet is empty, so it's yours. 😄

Then perhaps the problem originates with you? 😛

    • Ecscape pods?!?!?! That's really funny! What's not funny is that Sol has 2276 ships. Glad I haven't tried that.

Don't... It's pointless. Instead spend those 15+ hours playing plug-ins. Now that is a good use of time.

I'm not sure it's something that can be controlled, but rather a side effect of how the engine handles certain situations...I'm getting the same thing about 20% of the time with my plug....but the rest of the time, I'm bombarded by escape pods!!!

BTW, as soon as I get back to base (24hrs or so) I'll upload the plug. It's called Empty Universe, and it's just that....there are no other ships but you, and when you demand tribute, the planet just evacuates in escape pods, and it's yours...rather amusing... 😄
