    • Ferazel editor release

Well, never let it be said that we don't listen to our customers... 🙂 The (url="http://"http://www.Ferazel.com/")Ferazel's Wand(/url) level editor has been released, so you can make your own levels for Ferazel's Wand. Enjoy.

You can download it from the (url="http://"http://www.AmbrosiaSW.com/games/ferazel/addons.html")Ferazel's Wand Add-On Files(/url) area. We've also set up a (url="http://"http://www.AmbrosiaSW.com/cgi-bin/ubb/forumdisplay.cgi?action=topics&number;=54")Ferazel Hacking web board(/url) for discussing level creation.

NB: This level editor is unfinished, has some bugs in it, and is difficult to use; the faint of heart need not apply. We are not supporting the editor at all, we are simply making it available for those brave souls who'd like to give it a go.

    • Heh, I saw a new webboard called Ferazel Hacking, and wondered whether somebody had done something to Ambrosia. 🙂

And so the problem remained; lots of people were mean, and most of them were miserable, even the ones with digital watches. Many were increasingly of the opinion that they had all made a big mistake in coming down from the trees in the first place. And some said that the trees had been a bad move and that no one should ever have left the oceans. - Douglass Adams

    • There are down sides to everything. Now that people know that lobbying Ambrosia actually works, they may even start lobbying Ambrosia to support this editor.

In any case, best wishes to those who will be using the editor to bring more joy to theirs and others' lives.

Ishda...you're a mean one, Mr. Grinch.

Ambrosia responded to their customers, I don't think that they gave in to unreasonable demands just to shut people up. And let's remember, keeping interest alive in the game can't be that bad for sales. And as for support, there have been some volunteers in that area. I believe that is what this board is for.

    • Well, the good news is that my reign of three-level tyranny is over, and you are free to break the duopoly. Ferazel is a much better game to have an editor for than any other.

The good news is that it appears I can express my tyranny in a new form...anything that doesn't have anything to do with Basic Nothingness will be deleted by me. 😉 Just kidding; I can't wait to see the masses of levels you churn up.

I find it disturbing that Bush, a man with one-and-a-half terms of being a governor in a state that doesn't give that official any real duties, can consider himself qualified to be President. Is there a solution?

    • Now how come I'm not a moderator? I was the one who started the big topic in the Ferazel boards. 😉

    • Woah. The MASCOT editor looks a LOT like the harry one. 😉

    • Today is 55 days after the release of the MASCOT Editor!!
(I was going to post this on the 50th, but i forgot.)
Many thanks to all who begged, pleaded, or yelled at Ben to release the editor. (Myself included :D)

In that time, the following worlds have been made:
      *Basic Nothingness
      *AndrewÂ’s World
      *Knight of NiÂ’s world
      *One Ferazel against the world.
      *Extemperaneous
      *Orthographic Universe
      *Blanket Of Regions
      *Equity of Redemption
And now, thereÂ’s the One Big World project, hopefully the first world to have over 25 levels.

You canÂ’t say that there havnÂ’t been many worlds released!

    • In addition to those you listed aschaaf_86, I have also made 6 levels which I will immediately post upon the arrival of my full version of Ferazel's Wand. I've used the demo version for those levels and want to test out any new bugs on the full version.
