    • HCSN- Today scientists on Earth released a statement saying that the advanced scanner jamming device found on the pirate argosies is not what caused the scan block. It was a mysterious blocking factor that was probably emenating from the Pelagon system.

      HCNN - "The HC Arms Corporation has just announced plans to reconstruct and manufacture a new "flak turret." Although High Command currently will not give details on the new project, the president has said that the weapon was first brought into their hands when General Rak defected to the Rebellion some years ago during the war with the blueprints. We do know, however, that the turret fires explosive metallic projectiles, designed specifically to tear right through armor before exploding. Once the weapon goes into service with the Human Confederation Navy, we'll bring you a full detailed description of the flak turret."

      You bringing back the flak turret, eh? It would be VERY useful against the aliens. But don't you have to announce it on the 2nd page?

    • Also, I really think you should upgrade the pirate Kestrels specs, and increase the SuperKestrel's manueverability. Otherwise, the pirates only have crappy weapons.

Vaten was proving to be a very capable commander, even if he was only 24 years old. He was insubordinate, but that was kind of to be expected among pirates. However, he had a very good sense of tactics, and was not afraid to use unorthodox strategies to defeat the enemy.

      "Oh?" replied Grunadulater. "What do you have in mind to improve it?"

      "Well, the Rapier is supposed to be a dedicated antiship platform, not meant for dogfights. However, its missiles clearly are inferior to torpedoes, and its shields do not stand up to heavy capital ships' turrets. I propose modifying the Rapier so that is more suited to its original role. The Lightning can handle any starfighters that comes its way, as can the Corvettes."

      "I see what you mean. Give me some time to think. You will hear from me about this soon."

      You can only have 1 superkestrel. I would also advise getting at least 20 Kestrels.

      sure.may i make some suggestions?the shields should be much much higher and with less guns.more detection and slower.also, lots and lots of missiles and heavy rockets.that would make it perfect for defending.i will also along with a fleet commander apoint you ship desighner if you want(we could get someone else to do the drawings and stuff.)
