      Just out of curiosity, what exactly does regeneration do?

      It heals you over time. There's a maximum amount that you can heal. These items are generally good when you have time to heal, AKA you're not fighting a boss.

      Watch your health indicater; if you eat some veggie soup, it'll gradually increase (assuming it has been depleted) over time and stop after a certain time period.
