    • Again! TC recommendations?

I know you've probably all seen one of these topics before, but I've started playing the origional EV again, and I was wodering what the best TC was, off the top of your head? I've done New Horizons (loved it!) but any other suggests would be good. Esp. mission ones as well. Please?

      Thanks!

    • The good plugins for Escape Velocity don't tend towards TCs as much as they do for Override. The best EV plugins are plugins which add and change a great deal, but do not replace the universe. I recommend Pale and EV Game Expander.

David's right in that there are not that many TCs out there for EV. If you want a true TC, try either the three plugs of Empire Trilogy or Quantumire. My two cents right there.

    • Seeing this topic I tried EVGE but it keeps saying there isn't enough memory when I know it has enough damn memory. Any tips?

    • martin, Talon is pretty good (the one in david arthur's sig) its not long, and i don't think its a TC, but its not a bad bit of work.

Thanks. It's certainly not long - there are only a couple of mission strings - but I've done my best to polish it in every way possible. I originally wrote it in 1997, and I've rewritten much of it several times since then.
