Yes, I personally like the name as well. He got the word "Carnotaur" from the nasty, T-Rex-like dinosaurs, seen in the motion picture "Dinosaur."

    • I find that the two coolest (excluding my username, which I think is pretty cool :p) names are: Talon Karrde, and Locke. Both get my vote.

Yes, I know roughly how it would be rendered into modern-day English, and one of these days I might actually explain... maybe in TWR πŸ˜‰

As for names... hrm. I'd have to say that 'Zelda', 'Begemotike', 'Demosthenes' and 'Kilvain' are among my favourites, not forgetting 'Gildor' of course, but I am slightly biased on that Posted Image

I don't believe their were "Carnotaurs" in Jurassic Park...In the film "Dinosaur," there was an actual dinosaur called the carnotaur.

"The handsome 7" NOt sure what the 7 is there for. There are several ways to translate guapo, but this is the most common, I think.

That is correct. There is no actual word it means, there are few words similar to it though. Guapo (pronounced wappo) can also mean: good looking, cute, and others.
I gotta tell you a part from DB GT. O.K Goku and Vegeta were battling an evil dragon, and the dragon ate the dragon balls and became more powerful. Except one, Goku grabbed one and ate it. Later, Goku somehow became a little kid. He started a beam and everyone noticed that the dragonball was stuck in his forehead. Goku started running around screaming, then he asked, "ΕΌEstoy guapo?" and everyone did that thing that Japanese animation does so much (fall down with their legs sticking in the air). I just thought that was funny. translated it was "do I look nice?"

Yeah, but he's right. Carnotaurs are in the book "The Lost World." They're portrayed as chameleon-type dinosaurs, I think.

I see now. I have never even read the "Lost World" books, so I wouldn't know that there were carnotaurs in the story...

    • Does anyone mind if I stop tallying the votes? I will, if you want me to, but this would be cool as just a discussion topic. Right? Right.

Yeah, I thought Asmodaethur was cool becuase it's very close to Asmodeus, another name for Satan. Not that I'm a devil-worshipper, or anything, but Lucifer does tend to have cooler names than God. Also, in Asmodeus, see the -deus? That means "god" in latin. Being a god is cool. Unless you're evil, like Asmodeus. Never mind.

      I vote PlanetPhil
I always wanted a planet named after me. Unfortunately, my name is not Phil πŸ˜•

I disagree with Lucifer having cooler names. How can you pass up names like "The Almighty Lord and Savior", the "King of Kings", the "Lord of All". Billions tremble in fear of the "Wrath of God" but nobody fears Satan (but they blame Ol' Scratch when God's Wrath strikes). God has that whole revelations thing with the Four Horseman of the Apocalypse and the Beast. Striking down whole cities, nations, peoples etc. The Prince of Darkness is nothing beside the terror of the Lord of Creation.
