    • Other than ARDI Executor

I have a question that will definately decide the fate of my EV pilots. Are there any free Mac program (NOT OS!!!!!) emulators out there? I have my eye on the Mace Project, which might fit the bill if it gets done soon, but are there any others? Also, I have a question concerning ARDI Executor.

If I delete the Executor demo files (All of them), and download the demo again, will it reset the day count? Or will it stay expired?

      Help!

It will stay expired. This is just a guess, but I imagine that a hidden file is installed when you first install the Executor demo. That file, if it exists, would keep a log of the time elapsed since that first installation. Even repeated downloads and installations would avail you nothing...unless you (url="http://"http://support.microsoft.com/support/kb/articles/Q141/2/76.ASP")find that hidden file(/url). That's my theory.

As for other emulators: beats me. Perhaps someone else has a suggestion.

      Try looking at:
      (url="http://"http://www.emaculation.com/articles/escapefool.html")http://www.emaculati...escapefool.html(/url)

It describes how to get EV up and running on a PC. Also has links to getting Basilisk II - open source emulator. Just provide your own ROM image - any color-capable 68k Mac will do. They can be had for under $20 nowadays.

    • Thank's for the help. I'll keep that hidden file theory in mind.
