Try finishing the Rebel mission string. You get all Rebel ships and some cool weapons.
Rebel Cruiser that spells POWER,SPEED,STEALTH and Confed butt kicking.

I didnt know it existed until yesterday, when I blundered across it with Resorcerer while making my own plugin. It makes a weaker version of the kestrel available somewhere, has 30 points less shields, fewer missles, lower cost, but otherwise the same.

Of course I take out all of the secondary weaponry and go for primary only. Alien missions are too easy. I believe that T.A.G. is harder.

I only disable, board, and destroy wimpy confederate ships, along with other pirates.

Ship - Reason

1. Shuttle - Well, let me think...
2. Scoutship - Long range and good cargo space.
3. Agrosy - Makes loads of money fast.
4. Corvette - Good for wasting pirates, even the Kestrels if your a good pilot.
5. Kestrel - What's not to like. Kill the Aliens with it so you can get government ships
6. Either Cruiser - They're just good!

i like to wait forever to upgrade my ship-
shuttle-you start with it
clipper-kick asses of all confed freighters in levo.(take some rebel missions first tho)
corvette-after stealing 2.5 Million credits...use it to do all missions(but fully upgraded)
rebel cruiser-what better way to end?
whoever said TAG is harder than alien, ure right. 15ish kestrels? ugh..try it in a corvette :frown: (took me 2 tries vs. 1 for aliens)
Why am i alone in skippin the kestrel?its not THAT good, is it?(never flown one)
i hate all weaps with ammo, xcept javs and flares(unless mantas count) And i use my spare space for missiles(they arent my favorite, but sometimes fighters piss you off)
