What emulator's work??? I downloaded tons of them and none seem to work. If you know of one, can you link me to where i can download it and could you please tell me how to work it? Thanks in advance.

the ARDI.reg file is something you run before the timelimit on the demo runs out, it re-sets the time back to thirty days, making the program think you haven't even used it.

The best emulator I've used for EV is Basilisk II. It's MUCH better than executor and it even can run EVO (very slowly tho, I'm using OS 7.5.5 so maybe OS 8 runs it faster). It took me a while to set up but there's a few tutorials out there to get Basilisk II running.

Lynx, I have Bassilisk II, but I get an error with the cdenable.vxd, a blue screen of death to be precise. What Windows OS are you running? Cause it says mine can work for Win9X, but it doesn't want to... Any help?

I tried to get it to work. But it wouldn't, It keeps opening text files. I changed the "file info" so instead of TEXT it was APPL and it had an error. what else can i do?

Shabbabaram, I'm using Windows 98. I have gotten that error a few times before but I would just keep trying to restart Basilisk until it would work. Usually it took about 1 or 2 tries. All that I know about cdenable.vxd is that HFVExplorer uses it so that Windows can read mac formatted diskettes and CDs. I have a few ideas, but I have no idea if they would work.
Go into your Basilisk preferences and click on the "CD" tab and uncheck the box that says "CD-ROM enabled". Do the same with the Floppy tab (but uncheck "Boot from floppy allowed".
If that doesn't work, I'd try going into your WindowsSystem directory and deleting cdenable.vxd. You might want to back up the file before you do (put it in a different directory or something). Tell me if that helps at all.

You could also try to delete cdenable.vxd from your basilisk II directory.
