    • Well, la-dee FRIKIN' DA!

Ok, well if you don't have the Ev Game Expander plug-in, don't bother wasting your time on this post, ubnless of course you want to read this, and have a good chuckle, cause you will....

Ok, so I jump into this system (near the very bottom of the EVGE Universe) and there is a station that says "bla bla bla, don't go onward, or you can't get back."...............

      so I go onward......
Then "phew" I can still jump back, but in THIS system, there are the four hyperspace field generators, they again tell me "bla bla bla don't go onward or you can't get back."
      so naturally....

      I went onward.
And imagine how surprised I would be when I realised... I couldn't get back! I was shocked and dismayed, but that feeling quickly subsided and I tried to figure out someway to get back...well...I couldn't... So what I am asking is if anyone has one of those plug-ins that can make you jump to any system in the galaxy you know? Anythign to get out of there, cause man I am screwed over. 😕 Or if you know of how to get out of there at all...if not.... oh man I am gonna curse in my sleep I tell ya what!

      -thx in advance!

    • There is a way out of that system, There will be an alien command ship with a slightly different name that gives you a mission. Just keep landing on the uninhabited station and taking off again until that ship shows up. Then when you get the mission, you can leave and do a job for the Aliens. I'm pretty sure that's how you do it, it's been more than a year since I've played that plug.

    • Ha-ha-ha! So which word did you not understand: "can't," or "get," or "back"?

Okay. What you need is EV Warp by Plunger Software. It is available on the Add-Ons page here. Keep in mind that EV Warp is meant to work with stock Escape Velocity. EV Game Expander changes so many systems that you may warp your pilot into total weirdness. Make a copy of your pilot file first, then use EV Warp to travel to a system that hasn't been changed by the plug-in. Good luck!

    • Well, I got the EVWarp plug in, but it can't warp you FROM a system that was made from a plug-in... So that doesn't work, and I am gonna try and talk to the aliens or whatever, and do that mission for them, but they have taken to attacking me, so that's not fun.... oh well...here I go...

Sure it can. I have done it myself, and while using EVGE. It just takes some time to find a system to safely warp to.

    • Are you sure? Do yuo remember what system it was you warped to?

    • When I get home in a couple of hours, I'll find out which system it was and post it here. (If only I hadn't deleted EV from the iMac at work )

    • Look for a ship named "Alien Mothership" It is rare, you must land on maia and take off many times before it appears. Land, take off, tab through the ships, land again... Hail it. It will give you a mission which reveals the route back to human space.

    • Yeah, well I tried to find it for about an hour and then I decided to use EV Warp. That and everytime I would take off, the aliens would kill me..

      Don't you just hate that?

Sorry for the late response. I went home, started EV with EVGE, flew into the alien system and got trapped, just as you did. I then tried EV Warp and found that if I warped to Levo, my pilot actually wound up back in the Merope system—which is where the four force field generators are located, along with the warning not to go further. Try Levo first; if that doesn't work, try one world after another (best to try the independent worlds first, maybe). It should work.

    • Yeah, I got it working, I went to..uhh...I forget...the second confed system on the list. I know that. But, it too, warped me to a completely different system, oh wll, it worked. That's good, cause man, I would have been so ticked. I has enough monkey to buy the huge shipo, the Condor, you know? And it woudl take too long to start a new pilot and get it again... But I got my condor...oh man, it's too good.... But worth the 18.1M

    • The Condor is (for me, anyway) the most enjoyable player ship in any plug I've tried. It even looks cool, and the Century fighters it carries are great. I was allowed to buy a Polaris Dragon Frigate, but I don't like it as much; it's a little too strong, if that makes any sense. It unbalances the game a bit. Next time I actually play EVGE, I'm going back to the Condor.

    • hahahaha(sorry)

    • I'd have to agree with you Phil, the ships in that game are really beefed up. Especially the Orion Galaxy Destroyers. BTW, how do you take oone of those out? I got rid of it's fighters, but now I can't get rid of the ship itself withoout using long range weapons cause I cant dodge it's turbolasers
