During a recent battle, I shot down a pirate that was attacking a Confed bulk freighter. THe problem is that the pirate blew up and destroyed the already disabled bulk freighter. From that point, the Confeds considered me an offender and in some places a fellon.

I was just wonder what was the quickest way to get back on the right side of the Confeds since that was how I was going to play this pilot... An all round good guy.

Kill rebels...pirates...and do cargo missions. Thats so far the fasttest way i know.

Yeah, just kill Rebels and Pirates in or near Confed space. Sooner or later you'll get offered a mission (in a bar) to transport some documents for the Feds.

get a fake ID. It costs about 1 million credits and you can only buy it in that one pirate place near New Cydonia.But it's worth it(I think).

Is you are only an offender, screw the fake ID. Killing a Pirate Clipper would bring your combat rating up and obove clean.

Forget a fake ID. Although your combat rating doesn't change your status with a government, the easiest way it to shoot down a pirate or two in the confed systems where they hate you, and then you'll eventually get missions offered by confed (may have to bribe a few confed ships, though)

That happened to me once - I was flying a clipper, the "Mos Eisely" and I saw some militia defenders attacking a pirate Argosy.

I fired some Javelins, but a Defender got in the way - and I damaged his shields.

Well that just made me SO popular.

I got killed.

Probably mulitple defenders given how he phrased it. You get four or five of those little buggers on a Clipper and they'll eat away at you.

Why go to the Confeds? Just go and blow up tons of Confed ships and make yourself a Rebel! Just kidding...

Anyway, just go around killing any Pirates and Rebels you see, as long as you can actually kill them.
